Industry and Suppliers Awards finalists showcase the NSW mining industry
The finalists for the NSW Mining Industry and Supplier Awards have been announced today, recognising excellence within our world class mining industry and mining supply chain in NSW.
“Our Industry and Suppliers’ Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the important role mining plays in NSW, particularly our economic contribution. Our world class mining industry provides jobs for tens of thousands of families, and injects valuable economic activity and spending into mining communities right across NSW,” NSW Minerals Council CEO Stephen Galilee said today.
“The contribution made by our finalists is very important to NSW. Coal, copper and gold are our state’s most valuable exports, and almost everyone in NSW relies on us every day for electricity generated by coal supplied to power stations across the state,” Mr Galilee said.
