Voice for Mining Family Day draws season record crowd to Hunter Stadium

On Sunday August 18, two Hunter teams needed your support – the Newcastle Knights and NSW miners at Voice for Mining Family Day at Hunter Stadium.

Over 26,000 fans turned out to cheer on the Knights as they took on the Melbourne Storm – a season record for Knights home games.

And around 10,000 of those fans were decked out in high vis in a great show of support for our miners and all the good things mining brings to the region.
