Mining
unearths a lot more than just raw minerals, it provides
us with jobs. 
When you count people who work directly in mining or in
businesses supported by mining, that’s around a
staggering 250,000 jobs in NSW#. These jobs are in environmental
science, engineering, the trades, hospitality, retail,
IT and office work - to name but a few.
All this makes mining the lifeblood of many regional economies.
And strong regional economies mean ongoing employment
for our kids and our kids’ kids.
