What is the ‘Explorer of the Year’ Award?

NSW has a proud history of mineral exploration and discovery. From the coal and gold discoveries in the late 1700s and early 1800s that have shaped our economy to the modern discoveries of rare earths, nickel, cobalt and scandium that will shape our world into the future.

NSW is home to some of the world’s leading mining operations, which would not be possible without our world class explorers and geologists. We want to celebrate the good work of the professionals shaping our industry and unearthing the mineral deposits that will become the mines of tomorrow through the NSW Mining ‘Explorer of the Year’ Award.

The NSW Mining ‘Explorer of the Year’ Award is a great opportunity to promote yourself, your colleagues or your business and its achievements. So don’t wait, enter now!
